This is Joel, and I want to start an English column where teachers can introduce some things from their country. We will also go over simple phrases and answer some common questions. Let me begin with a popular event in fall.
One of my memorable experiences when growing up was during October. Some places offer hayrides, which is a ride on a wagon filled with hay and pulled by a tractor. It was a fun experience because we got to travel across the farm before getting to the pumpkin patch.
Once arriving at the pumpkin patch, the hunt for your very own pumpkin begins! Needless to say, the biggest or the weirdest looking pumpkins are the most popular.
After returning back home, the carving starts to turn the pumpkin into a Jack-o-lantern!
